Because of its intentionally flexible design, we dont believe theres a company out there that wouldnt benefit from using Traction TeamPage.

The built industry and multifamily real estate sector are fragmented. If left unchecked, the current pace of natures decline will have grave implications for the human race. We stand to face increasing natural disasters, loss of biodiversity, and threats to public health. If we work together for individual and systemic change, we can save the planet and ourselves. We wanted to bring together the leaders, technologies, and conversations driving innovation in the built environment. Investors, architects, engineers, contractors, building owners and operators, and startup founders were looking at you. Get a reality check on what works and what doesnt in technology across the entire building life cycle. Learn whats driving resident retention in multifamily, how Big Data is fueling the rise of smart cities, the future of cloud-based design and architecture, and more. Lets go build. Demo days are dumb, 1:1 Customer pitches are better. Lets go sell. Alienate great startups with canned financial terms, negotiate terms on a 1:1 basis. Programs provide zero due diligence (buyer beware), actually perform due diligence like they are investments (because they are). See above.its our job. Mentors and coaches that dont have a vested interest, coaches, and mentors should invest. Crowdfund feature (If a mentorcoach cant invest 1k.they probably arent that successful) No support to actually acquire customers. This allows us to spend time and have a financial relationship with startups. We have never had a deal volume issue, it has really been the effort to filter and diligence as a bottleneck. We received SEC approval to crowdfund our accelerator with Accredited and Non-Accredited Investors. This means the industry at all levels can invest in our accelerator and evangelize our portfolio. This will allow us to market to investors that dont have any awareness of the opportunity in the built environment and get them excited about funding and promoting the most important technology in our society. We have optimized it for this space AND the most important aspect of early stage: customer acquisition and traction. The first cohort will center on multifamily real estate technology with three other cohorts under development focused on innovation in design technology, construction technology, and commercial real estate technology. Not everyone can be an accredited investor but many people are interested in alternative investment options. These factors led to the development of a program for crowdfunded investment opportunities. Theres an entire generation using platforms like Robinhood interested in investing and I see this as an extension of that. For startups, weve cut to the chase - their biggest need is acquiring new customers so this program is focused on just that: customer acquisition. In 2009 more than 500,000 startups were launched and from 2008 - 2014 nearly 19.5 billion funded startups.
